Over the past 10 years, the cost of living in New York City has risen 37%. For some of our members, their wages have only increased 25% over that period, and our contracts were mostly written for the workplaces of the last century.
We know what our members' priorities are, and our vision is to build Local 768 into a union capable of leading the fight to win these priorities.
Local 768 members will elect new leaders fall of 2026. Nominations will occur in October, and ballots are expected to be mailed in early November. Who we choose to lead matters.
